Common Reasons for Canada Student Visa Rejection

Occasionally applying for a Study Visa to Canada may be a complex process that takes much time and affords with no guarantee for approval. However, many things can be avoided when you know the common mistakes due to which a Student Visa is rejected. The most common reasons for rejection of Student Visa are:

Lack of funds. It is a most common reason for rejection when a student is unable to show enough funds to support your study and living expenses in Canada.

Wrong selection of the study program. In case you have selected a study program that does not match with your academic background or work experience, there are high chances that your visa application may be rejected.

Incomplete/irrelevant documents. Providing incomplete/irrelevant documents in Student Visa application is another common reason that should be avoided when you want to study in Canada. Make sure to provide all required documents for your application and do not submit the irrelevant documents.

Low scores in English Language Proficiency test. For a student from country where English language is not native, it is very important to prove that he/she has sufficient communication skills in English by showing good testing scores in IELTS, TOEFL, CELPIP, etc.
